Dragon Spirit (series)

Dragon Spirit ('ドラゴンスピリット) is a series of medieval-fantasy, vertically-scrolling Shoot 'em Ups by Namco. The series is a spiritual successor to Xevious, featuring the same gameplay mechanics. The original game received ports to various consoles.

The story focuses on the evil demon Zawell and his legacy of evil, as well as the hero Amul, who is capable of transforming himself into a dragon, and his descendants, as they fight Zawell and his forces.
